Should I spray the termites I found myself?

No, and please do not disturb the workings at all. Spraying makes the colony abandon that area and relocate elsewhere in the building, which both hides the problem and makes treatment much harder. Cover it back up and call us.

Chemical barrier or baiting system, which is better?

It depends on the build. Chemical barriers suit most slab-on-ground homes and give immediate protection. Baiting systems suit properties where the slab cannot be drilled, or where the owner prefers a lower-chemical approach. We recommend based on the actual site.

How long does a barrier last?

Typically eight years for a full chemical barrier, subject to the product used and the barrier staying intact. Annual inspections are still required to keep the warranty valid.
